Our Alaska salmon
fishing lodge offers a limited number of Alaska
unguided Alaska
King Salmon fishing trips near
the mouth of the Nushagak River approximately 28 miles
from the community of Dillingham, Alaska in the beautiful,
Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska.
To experience the best king
salmon fishing Dillingham, Alaska has to offer,
come fish with us on the Nushagak River. It is one of
the most prolific of all the salmon fishing rivers in
Alaska. On your fishing adventure, King Salmon is just
one of the salmon species you might find, the river
is home to all five varieties of Southwest
Alaska Salmon.
The upriver salmon migration is one of nature's most
exciting dramas. But to the five species of Pacific
Salmon (chinook, chum, coho, pink, and sockey), it is
a long, strenuous, desperate race against time, with
every obstacle taking its toll.
Migration between fresh and
salt water occurs during every season of the year,
depending on latitude and genetic characteristics of
the fish. Groups of fish that migrate together are called
runs or stocks. Salmon spawn in virtually all types
of freshwater habitat, from intertidal areas to high
mountain streams. Pacific salmon may swim hundreds,
even thousands, of miles to get back to the stream where
they hatched. On their way back upstream many thousands
pass right by our lodge on the Nushagak River. Book
your trip and catch your share!
