Hello Fishermen,
As most of you know, and for those of you that don't
know, the summer of 1999 was our last year of operating
our fishing business (12 years) in the same location
on the Nushagak River near Portage Creek. A few years
back we purchased property 10 miles down river from
our old location. We spent the summer of 2000 and
spring of 2001 building cabins. We were ready by the
20th of June and had a full camp til the 10th of July.
Fishing stayed extremely good up until the 20th of
July for Kings, Sockeye and Chums. Silver fishing
in August was also excellent.
The only items you will have to bring to camp are
fishing gear, sleeping bag, camera, film, clothes
and personal items. (see our packing
list) We recommend you also bring around
a 50 quart cooler with your favorite soft drinks and
spirits. This will give you something to carry your
fish back home in!
There are several major airlines that service Anchorage
daily. Upon your arrival in Anchorage there are daily
flights into Dillingham on either
Alaska
Airlines, or Peninsula
Airways.
We serve a continental
breakfast and two meals per day with snacks being
available. These meals include such favorites
as Alaskan King Salmon, Alaskan Halibut, Shrimp, and
Dungeoness Crab, as well as, steaks, pork chops, chicken,
etc. You won't go hungry!
We have limited space available and we book
up quickly so get your space reserved as soon as possible.
We require a 50% deposit upon booking a trip with
the remainder due by April 15th.
